Shipping & Delivery

Orders are processed pending item availability and credit card verification. Elie Tahari will contact you via email if there are any issues with your order.

Orders placed Monday through Friday before 4PM EST will be processed and shipped that business day.

Orders placed on Friday after 4PM EST or over the weekend will begin processing on the following Monday.

Elie Tahari does not process or ship orders on Saturday, Sunday or federal holidays.

We ship via FedEx to addresses within the United States, Puerto Rico & Armed Forces locations.

For your protection, any order totaling $2,500.00 or more requires a signature at the time of delivery.

Orders shipping to Puerto Rico & Armed Forces locations will ship via the FedEx SmartPost and be delivered via United States Postal Service. Please allow additional time for delivery.

Refusal of Delivery

If you refuse delivery, it will be returned to our warehouse and processed as a return order. You will receive a full refund including tax, however shipping charges are non-refundable.


Tracking Your Order

You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has been shipped, which will include the tracking number for your package. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours after the package leaves our warehouse for the tracking information to appear in the shipment tracking system. If you order more than one item, it is possible that it may be shipped separately, depending on stock availability.


Pricing & Payment Options

Elie Tahari accepts the following credit card payment options:

  • American Express
  • MasterCard
  • Visa

The transaction will be charged to your credit card only after we have verified your card details, received credit authorization, confirmed stock availability, and your order is ready to be shipped. Your credit card will be authorized but not charged at the time you submit your order.

Debit Cards: The total dollar amount of your order will be authorized at the time your card is approved, which may have an effect on your account balance even though the actual payment will not occur until your order ships. If you order a pre-order item, we recommend that you deduct the full amount of your order from your debit card records to ensure funds are available as your items are shipped.

Multiple Shipments: If your order is sent in multiple shipments. Your credit card will be charged separately for each shipment.


Sales Tax

In accordance with individual state regulations, sales tax is automatically applied to your order if your shipping address is in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MO, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, TX, VA or WA. Please note that tax calculations are based on state and county locations of the shipping address on your order.


Using A Promotion Code

To redeem promotion codes simply enter the code into the appropriate field at checkout. Your order total will reflect any and all price changes.

As specified in the emails, these offers are not valid on past purchases and we are unable to do price adjustments on previous orders.


Gift Cards

Elie Tahari Gift Cards will arrive in our signature brown box and may be used at any Elie Tahari boutique store. The gift card will be mailed to the Shipping Address selected at checkout. Gift cards are final sale and not returnable for credit.

Purchases may be made with a combination of gift cards and credit cards. The gift card will be the primary form of payment. Returns will be refunded with a new gift card. Should you return a purchase that was made with a combination of a gift card and a credit card, your credit card will be credited for the entire return amount. If you return a purchase made with a combination of a gift card and PayPal, you will receive your entire return amount on a new gift card, which will be mailed to you upon receipt of your return.

Returns & Exchanges

Full price and sale merchandise may be returned within 14 days of receipt of your order. Returns of FINAL SALE merchandise will not be accepted.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

To return an item purchased at, simply follow the return instructions on the order invoice included with your package. Securely pack and seal the return merchandise and return the bottom portion of the invoice in an appropriate shipping box. You may affix our pre-paid FedEx return label to the box and drop off at any FedEx location. If you choose to return using a pre-paid FedEx return label, $7.00 will be deducted from one of your individual return transactions. For tracking your return, we recommend that you take note of the return tracking number from FedEx.

All merchandise must be in its original condition, new, unworn and unaltered with all original tags attached. Footwear returns must be unworn and include the original shoe box in its original condition without postal labels. Upon receipt of returned merchandise, Elie Tahari reserves the right to deny refund if the items do not meet our return policy requirements or issue refunds in the form of merchandise credit.

Once your return package has been received by, your refund will be processed in the original form of payment within two to four weeks. You will be notified via email once the return transaction has taken place. If you return a purchase made with a combination of a gift card and PayPal, you will receive your entire return amount on a new gift card, which will be mailed to you upon receipt of your return.

Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account.

If you return more than one item, each item returned will be refunded to the original form of payment as an individual transaction. If a return is outside the timeframe, or does not meet the return requirements, it may be returned for Elie Tahari Merchandise Credit only.

We recognize that returns are important to our customers. To ensure a positive shopping experience for all our customers, if we identify through electronic analysis an unreasonable return pattern, we may restrict or refuse future transactions from such customers at

In Store Returns & Exchanges

All items (except FINAL SALE) purchased on may be returned in any of our full price US boutiques within 14 days of receipt of your order.

Your order invoice and original form of payment must accompany your return. Gift returns will be refunded in the form of an ELIE TAHARI gift card.

Online purchases are NOT eligible for return at our outlet stores.


Returning An Gift

Items purchased online and received as a gift may be returned when accompanied by the order invoice within 14 days of receipt of your order - a credit will be issued in the form of a gift card via mail. Please make sure to include your name, email, phone number and mailing address with your gift receipt when you ship your return.


Your Order

You will receive an order confirmation email after you have placed your order. A copy of your receipt will be included in your order shipment. If your order is a gift, a gift receipt, which excludes all prices, will be included in your order shipment.

Changing or Cancelling Your Order

Once an order is placed on we are unable to change or cancel the order.

An account offers you an easy and fast way to place orders. You can customize your account preferences and save your billing and shipping information for faster checkout. Your account also allows you access to your order history so you can check your order status.You can also create a Wishlist, which allows you to customize and save your favorite items, so that you may share them.

Product Availability

Elie Tahari products available for purchase online are subject to availability. As necessary, we reserve the right to limit the quantity of products we supply; supply only part of an order or to divide up orders. We also reserve the right to alter the terms or duration of any special offer or sales promotion. We will inform you if we are unable to fulfill your order. Please note the following product availability descriptions:

  • Available now: Products are in stock and ready to ship.
    Note: We make every effort to maintain sufficient stock of items on our website; however, we may run out of stock of popular items. If an item is out of stock, we will notify you via e-mail and the item will be canceled from your order.
  • Out of Stock: Products are currently unavailable and most likely will not be available in the future. In this instance, a customer service agent may be able to help you locate a particular item. Please contact
  • Pre-Order: Products that are not yet in stock but are available to purchase and will ship within the next few weeks.
    Note: Pending credit card authorization, pre-order items will be processed and shipped as they become available. Pre-order shipping time frames are for estimation purposes only; items may ship before or after the estimated shipping date. Your credit card will not be charged for a pre-order item until that item ships.

Measuring Instructions for Women: Before beginning, read the guidelines below and then compare your measurements to the size chart . We recommend using a fabric tape measure when measuring your dimensions.

  • Bust - wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, then drop your arms to your sides to measure.
  • Natural Waist - measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape against your body.
  • Drop Waist - measure around and below your belly button 2 inches, keeping the tape against your body.
  • Hips - stand with your heels together, and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Women's Size Guide

  • Chest - wrap the tape measure around the highest part of your chest and shoulder blades, then drop your arms to your sides to measure.

  • Inseam - measure along the inside of the leg just below the crotch to one inch below the ankle.

Gift orders arrive with tissue wrapped in our signature brown gift box finished with satin ribbon — including a personalized message and gift receipt.
