Stand naturally. Measure under your arms, around the widest part of your back and around the fullest part of your bust.

Bend to one side to find the natural crease of your waist. Measure across at this point.

Standing with feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips and rear.

What if I am in between sizes?

We suggest you size up.

How do I measure inseam and front rise?

Using a pair of pants that fit you well (of a similar material to those you are buying), measure along the inside of the pant leg from the crotch to the bottom opening. The number of inches is the inseam length, rounded to the nearest ½”. For the front rise, take those same pair of pants & measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the crotch.

Gorgeous

Almost perfect

I bought this dress in the plum color in a size small. I am 5'4" 142 lbs and it fits and looks EXACTLY like the photos on me. It hits just over the tops of my knees. The natural wrinkle of the material is very flattering and hides the little bit of belly I have. The color is rich and gorgeous. The potential for a plasticky feel always worries me when buying velvet clothing, but it's comfortable on and feels breathable (though I haven't worn it out yet). I am planning to dry clean it, but haven't done so yet. The only flaw in this dress, and it IS pretty hard to ignore, is that the elastic at the hem is very tight. It hobbles me for sure when I walk. I'm planning to keep it anyway, but walking in this dress will be a little bit of a workout for my thighs, lol. Just to be clear, it doesn't LOOK like I'm restricted when I walk, but I can definitely feel it.
